Isobel Khaldi shares her story
Plus exclusive interview
Being a teenage lesbian, there have been many times in my life where I’ve struggled with accepting who I was and feeling confident in myself. I’d never thought of myself as exceptionally pretty, and found it hard to fit in.
However, this is not the life I’d wish for any other teen girl, and that’s why I’ve created this magazine, to promote self-love!
During the past couple years, I realised that I was doing myself no good treating myself badly, and so I learnt to embrace what made me different, and since then everything’s been looking up! The most important thing is not whether other people think you’re “cool” or “normal”, but whether you are true to yourself, and comfortable being who you are, no matter what.
Remember – you're beautiful, you’re talented, you’re loved, so treat yourself with as much kindness as you’d treat your best friend, your partner, or a family member.
You're beautiful, you're talented, you're loved
